I'm signed up, along with friends in a Scamp. I've offered to do a workshop on photography...

WOW! What a model in planning. Reservations will give you peace of mind. Interesting on your truck service. We did the same last year on our way to the Outerbanks Rally. We were due for a service, made the reservation at West Memphis, Arkansas, unhooked down the street, and had lunch while the boys did their thing.
Looks like you’re heading out east first, then looping back through the Provinces. Good luck on you 8 grocery stops!

Actually Steve, we're first crossing into Alberta at the panhandle of Idaho, then heading east. We're coming back west from Portland, Maine in the USA. We would have done the reverse, but two of the stops were going to be overrun by the Sturgis gang at the time we'd need to be there. I think this will work great. For instance, we'll be in the Badlands mid-September and I'm hoping it will be closer to 80 degrees instead of 110 degrees

Badlands

You never know about the Badlands. I’ve been there in July when it was 108F and 72F a year apart. Last year it was about 80 in mid August and pleasant with low humidity and a nice breeze. Right now I’d settle for 50F here in the country. Those rays are getting longer and with a little wind from the east the icicles are pointed west with a message that says “won’t be long now”

I just found out today, that I'm the only one who's registered to go to this event from Oregon. REALLY? Come on Oregonian's, let's represent this state. It's going to be a TON of fun and you'll make good memories that will last the rest of your life.
