Escapes at Casita Bluebonnet Rally

2-19s and 2-5.0s at the BB rally in Bandera, TX. SLOWLY taking over here-only 100 or so more Escapes needed!

Re: Escapes at Casita Bluebonnet Rally

Donna,
a friend of mine sent a picture on his phone to me of the 19 and 5.0 with the red Ford trucks. They were the people last year their who said they had ordered Escapes.

We did make a statement with our 4 Escapes. We enjoyed showing off our 19.

Lowell was camped next to you and told me you need the front storage box. I sure find mine very handy.

Pam and I enjoyed ourselves at Texas Bluebonnet rally in Bandera. The weather and friends were excellent... Can't wait to get more Escapes down here for next year!

Re: Escapes at Casita Bluebonnet Rally

I just got back from eight days camping near Driftwood TX for the Old Settlers Music Festival. Beautiful weather for camping right now down here - low 50's at night & upper 70's to low 80's during the day. Great music at the fest & around the various campfires at night too. Throw in good local craft beer & an abundance of wildflowers. Good times indeed!

I counted 8 Casitas (primarily 16/17 footers), 1 Scamp (13'), 2 Surfsides (could've possibly been Trilliums), 1 Hunter Compact (or it might've been a Trailswest Campster), 1 Base Camp (tiny). Lots of vintage canned hams & Argosy/Airstreams, 4 Tear Drops, & a whole host of tent trailers and big stickies combined with oodles of the primitive tent campers. Suffice it to say, I was the only Escape once again & had numerous lookie-loos coming by for a visits.

Where were all my new fellow TX Escapees? Now I know ... at the Bluebonnet rally which is also in the held in hill country. Excellent!
