Green Eggs and Ham IX, March 13-17 2019

We're up and running for online reservations, about 1 week away. This year Jim has offered to coordinate a morning of golf at Capital Hill, which is linked on the rally Website. Early Bird rig fee rates have also dropped from last year, now $8. until Mid-December. As soon as you make reservations with Gunter Hill, register with us and be a VIP!

Great to see the 2019 reservations coming in!

Hey Folks,
Nice to see the 2019 registration happen. All I ask is give me extra time this week in responding to check requests.

I just drove 14 hours this morning from Wilmington, NC to evacuate Hurricane Florence. Needless to say things are a bit out-of-whack at the moment and Internet will not be consistent. Guaranteed.

I'll get up with you as soon as I have some sit-down time and good Wi-Fi connection.

Register at the Green Eggs and Ham Website:Green Eggs and Ham - Alabama Fiberglass Travel Trailer Rally

We just made our COE campground reservations for our first Green Eggs and Ham rally. The loop with sewer hookups is full. The other is well over half full.

We are disappointed we will miss the rally, I went a couple of years ago in our Casita and had Little House Customs add some mods and had a fun time as well. We already have a tripped plan this same week to Little Talbot Island State Park with some friends so hope to be there in 2020.

Safe travels to all,

Steve

There’s only one more month to sign up as a VIP and get the early bird special rally rate!

Starting Mid-December, no checks will be accepted, registration shifts into regular status and the rig fee will double.
With only 62 trailer registrations and a near full campground, a few of you have been dragging your feet.

Get in on the benefits of being a VIP at a great rally rate now! Help the volunteers plan for the event in advance.

Last Chance for VIP Status

The VIP early bird rate will most likely change to regular registration/higher rig fee on the night of Friday, Dec. 14th, because I have to hitch my trailer and hit the road on the 15th.

All alternative check payments MUST be in Shorty's mailbox by the 15th, or you'll loose your VIP status and the discounted rate.

You haven't signed up yet and don't like the Friday evening deadline? Then sign up right now and pay a discounted rate to be a VIP! Currently there are still 14 reservable sites in Antioch Loop for the rally weekend.

Leprechauns are busy!

Have a site at Gunter Hill? Get your registration in with Green Eggs and Ham! The leprechauns have begun working on the schedule for attendees and they need to know who’s coming.

Only 11 reservable sites left…

We can hardly wait to get there. Schools closed again today, fourth time in a week, last week was three cold days with wind chills up to -62F, today is big storm and winds, then getting colder again later in the week. Leaving here the 26th for the south where hopefully we'll find spring!

Hey Adrian & Beth, Hurry on down to Alabama! It hit 72 degrees at our place yesterday. We've had a cool, wet winter up to now, which the blueberry bushes love, and their buds are bulging already. I just hope they don't bloom too soon because we can still have a killing frost ahead of us. If they can hold off until the "Ides of March" they should be good to go with what looks like, hopefully, another bumper crop this Spring. Yummmmm.....

Hi Dale hopefully we'll have some warmer than even southern AL weather, taking four days to go basically straight south to LA for five nights, then two at Biloxi, then six at Big Lagoon SP by Pensacola before we head "north" for the rally arriving Thursday.

Hi,
We are looking at Escapes and hope to order a 21' or 5.0 soon. The Green Eggs and Ham rally looks like the best chance close to us to find several escapes in one place, (we are in western NC). We currently don't have a camper. Would it be possible for us to come to the rally one day and see any trailers the owners would be willing for us to look at? If so is there a certain day that would be better for us to do that?
Thanks,
GBB

Yeah! Looking forward to having you join us again for an awesome gathering in warmer climes!

Your welcome packet is ready and we have an active schedule this year to keep the blood flowing. Be prepared to kick up your heels!

Hey Buddy, My wife and I will be there with our 2017 21' (few mods, pretty much stock), and you are more than welcome to stop by anytime you see our F-150 there (Site #46 in the Catoma Loop). We'll likely pull in Thursday by noon and leave Sunday around noon. I believe Adrian & Beth will be there with their 5.0TA in a site near us. We might not participate in the organized "Egg Parade" this year because it has tied us down the past couple years, and this year we want to get out and tour other people's campers. But again, you're welcome anytime we're there. FYI, unless you have a lifetime federal park pass, I think it will cost you $5 to enter the park on a "vehicle day pass". Hope to meet you there....

If for some reason, you guys don't make it to Green Eggs, there will be at least two 21's (classic variety) at Townsend KOA again this year at the April gathering.

At either location, come on the day that suits you best. Trailer viewing for new buyers is welcomed by nearly all current owners. Don't worry about a scheduled viewing time, which may be scheduled. Take plenty of pictures. That'll help you remember all the variations. People never mind pic's of their trailers, inside and out. We'll be at both rallies.

I just did a quick look-back, and there were seven 21's and three 5.0's at GE&H last year (mix of generations of both).

I'll be at Townsend with a 2nd generation 21 with a Lagun table mount, and closet over the drawers.

Gbb, yes we will be there likely Thursday afternoon about 3 in site 40 with our 2016 5TA, the last of the "classic" trailers. You're welcome to come visit anytime.

My bad Beth & Adrian! I knew you had a classic 5.0. It was "C&G in FL" from Florida and "GregandTeresa" from Tennessee who had 2nd gen 5.0TAs last year. I hope they both come back this year, as well.
