Dale sorry to confuse you. Last year we attended with our "classic classic" the single axle 5.0 which was originally Alf's. Now we have a 2016 TA which I referred to as classic since that's what most people are calling the previous trailers made with the older mold until about Oct. 2016. Ours was built in Sept. 2016. C&G's is actually older than ours a 2015.

and, I believe this one too belonged to Alf and Maryanne. You and Iowa Dave are the only forum members I know that have purchased subsequent Escapes from the same owners, in Dave's case it was Arizona Jack's units.

Actually, we have a classic 19 . We were there last year, but the week before the rally. I believe you are thinking of our good friends the Tenpennys, Jim and Jeanie, they had their brand new 5.0TA. And while we will not be down there this year, they will be.

Sorry Jim, we're not like Dave buying two trailers from the same owner. Our 5.0TA used to belong to Jan and Paul aka SpokanEscape. I'm pretty sure Alf's in FL right now with his 2014 5TA.

My bad, for some reason I thought Alf got another 5.0 TA, but it was the truck, not the trailer. Sorry about that mistake.

And this is exactly why my wife and I will be taking the egg parade tour this year instead of staying at and showing ours. We need to walk around and meet everyone at their camper instead of just driving by on our way in and out of the campground looking at campers and saying, "I think that one is so-and-so's." Or just go eat chili and gumbo and load our plates at the pot luck dinner and not worry about who has what trailer. Now there's an idea!

Thanks for the replies. We are planning on being there. March is a busy time on the farm, but we should be able to get away for a few days. If not thanks also for the info on the Townsend event. We love the Smokies in April, and had been talking about a trip to see the wildflowers anyway. Maybe we can do both.

We just booked our reservations for GE&H 2019. This will be our 2nd year at the rally. Had a blast last year and know this year will be great as well. We will be in site 25 and will be arriving 3/12 and departing 3/17. Love Gunter Hill Campground.

Mike and Donna it will be great to see you again, as you likely know we have a French named trailer as well.

Have to cancel.

Had reservations beginning 3/7 for 5 nights at Gunter Hill for the GE&H Rally. Have to cancel due to granddaughter being hospitalized with pneumonia. If anyone is looking for a site we were in the Catoma Loop site 25. Great spot on the lake side.

Best of luck to those heading to the rally. Enjoy!

We also had to cancel a centrally located Catoma loop site. Nothing serious. Just changing plans.
Hope to see a fiberglass camper get ours.

Our First Rally

Had a great time, looking forward to the next one.

An extra for us is that Pat and Melissa showed up hoping to buy a Casita and we ended up selling our great 17SD and have ordered a 21' Escape.

OOPS - no more RVing until August. Bummer.

Got to cancel 3 upcoming reservations.

Rally Wrap-Up

Thanks for another fun year at Green Eggs and Ham! 85 trailers in the woods, gettin’ their St. Patrick’s Day Green on. Now we can go off to more adventures until next year. Participants were sent the final roster via email yesterday (with a link like the schedule).

Check the rally’s website throughout the year for 2020 updates at: http://www.rvcompass.com/GEHrally/
