Putting this on my calendar now , the choice of park I am easy just tell me where to make reservations. I am sure you picked some nice ones. Checked both are about the same distance so which ever works for me.

We love the idea, although for us it would mean that we would have to shorten by a couple days our stay in South Carolina witch is easily doable.
The location would be great for us as we often take the 81 to go back to Montreal.

Jim, it's good you've come up with the eastern rally. Now we (hoping to buy Alf's 5.0 in May) will be about halfway between both the eastern and western rallies so will have to plan our longer trips around those dates. No chance for an eastern trip this year though, perhaps next!

Ours is tentative also, as we are not sure when we will be picking up our trailer nor where we be. Will keep you posted.

My wife mentioned today that she would like us to go see the turning leaves in New England this Fall. Sounds like about the right time to attend the rally.

Jon, I can't help but think every time there is a post here, that you picked the best winter NOT to be home. We are enjoying your blog and pictures. How did you know this was the winter to leave??

This rally needs a new name.
Because, there is no such thing as a "first annual" anything. You can have a "second annual" rally, once you've had the first rally ( that's when it becomes annual ).
So, I suggest a naming competition.
Maybe "Easter Egg Rally". Maybe something better than that.

Okay, how about Annual Eastern Escape Meet&Greet Rally, come join and meet our growing family. Call it what you wish but save the date that is what is important, 9/26-9/28/2014. Seven months and counting.

I have no problem with the original "1st annual", gbaglo is too far away to go anyway.
I suppose Inaugural Eastern... would be proper English. As it can't be an annual till it's already happened at least once we can revert to using "1st annual" when we get to the 2nd.
I still prefer the original.

"First annual" is fine as long as it is intended to be an annual event.

Why even include the word Annual or Inaugural in the title? We don't for the Oregon Gathering and this year will be the eleventh. I don't think they do for the Bluebonnet or Bolerama either. i can't even remember how many NOGs we've had. Maybe sixteen or so? Doesn't matter, each one is fun and each one though similar... is different. YMMV
