I would love to, but I made a x-country trip once this year. Maybe next year I can plan for both. I used to live in Mechanicsburg and still keep in touch with old friends and neighbors. Hope everyone has a great time!!

I picked it up at an auto parts store , they used the same switch for propane only and propane / electric units the rectangular switches are fairly common sized . I will look in a bit see if I still have the package. If yours is wired like mine the current switch will have 2 red wires one power one to load, the pilot light will have one black and one blue you will need to steal a ground off the black wire to go to the switch.

Here you go : Dorman Products - 85920 Got it at Autozone here.

Should pop right in same as the old one pops out. You will need a blue 1/4" female spade terminal, crimper/striper, short piece of stranded 16 ga or so wire. As I said the indicator light has a blue and black wire to it , the black is ground generally in 12v systems as mine was. I clipped off the original female spade terminal stripped back twisted the additional wire crimped new terminal and connected it to the ground on the switch easy peasy. I made a new plate because I wanted to not have the hole from the led that had been installed.

Jim,

We'd like into this pool. We expect to turn East at Big Sur before meandering East to the Inaugural Great Easter Escape Rally in late Sept. Presently in Klamath CA after 9 days of ownership of our Escape. Heading South tomorrow to Sonoma/Napa for "resupply". Thus, notwithstanding our northern MD address of record, we think we we can be considered for "furthest" honors. Willing to debate over beverage of your choice. :-)

Brenda and I will probably have to cancel our campsite, but hope to attend for the day, or at least one night. Since we changed our order from a 21 to the new 5.0ta we are waiting till March... So may just come out to look at things. If anyone wants our reservation, let me know

Hi. I just signed up for the rally. Site A19. Arriving 9/24 and departing 9/29. I have a Casita but we are preparing our build for a 19 or a 21. It will be great to look at the rigs at the rally and visit with the experts!

Primary tow vehicle is a 2012 Toyota 4Runner (rated at 5,000# tow capacity). I really hope that a 4Runner can handle a 21. I plan on doing most of my travel east of the Missisippi River. I tow a 4,300# fishing boat with the 4Runner with no problem at all but there is no frontal wind resistance to speak of. (I am also towing the Casita with a 2012 Toyota Sienna van and it does quite well.) If in the final analysis, I feel the 21 may be a bit too heavy, a 19 would make me happy too.

You will have both of those as well as the 5th TA and the Classic 5.0 models to inspect, plus an Escape 17 model. Almost a full Escape showroom. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone.

Hello All - This is my first post. I have been following the forum off and on, since just before ETI's move to the Chilliwack location. My wife, Carol, and I own a pop-up. We are very interested in fiberglass trailers and have been learning a lot from all of you in these forums.
We went to the Niagara Wine Fest last year and Alf showed us around and we got to see some fiberglass trailers. We are hoping to attend this rally to see more Escapes. We can only attend on Saturday due to job commitments. We will stay in a hotel nearby and come for the day and attend/bring something for the Potluck if that is OK? Do we sign-up with cpaharley2008? Thanks, Roger.

Roger and Carol,
Welcome to the forum and welcome to our rally next month. You are certainly welcome to attend and take a look at our Escapes, we all are so proud of our units. See you on Saturday, I believe I'm in site A9, but we will not be hard to find, just look for a dozen eggs at the CG.
