Don't think Paul has posted it yet but he probably will now.

I thought the information for the rally was posted on earlier thread. I also received an email from Paul On the Mississippi River Fiberglass Escape Trailer Rendezvous it is being hald at the Fishermans Corner on the Mississippi River in Illinois. The date are from September 25-27. As of today you can you start reserving your campsites. I'll wait for Paul to add more information on this.

I'm sure Paul will be on it soon. He told me earlier today he had heard from six people who had booked sites. We are arriving a day early after spending the previous weekend at
Alf's Niagara Rally. We will be in 13.

I reserved 1st thing this AM

Although I came achingly close to buying an Escape some years ago but suffered a collapsed deal from a very peculiar seller, Paul has graciously invited me to attend the rendezvous....with my 19 year old Casita 16' LD in tow. I'm booked for site 9 for 3 nights.

I believe Paul is away in Florida now, escaping the Wisconsin snows. I assume he'll get information out soon.....the rendezvous is only 6 months away. Tick tock, tick tock........book early!

Looking forward to meeting & seeing some Escape rigs as I do plan to get a 17 or 19 in the future.

Bon voyage,

Tom

Yes, I post on the various molded trailer forums, not often, and you & I have communicated privately years ago. Your memory is intact. Will you be making the trek for this rendezvous? Are you done yet with that pesky problem of working for a living?

Happy trails,

Happy trails,
No Tom, I'm still working

But I will be at the ETI rally!

Thanks for reassuring me that my mind and brain are still intact.

Mississippi River Fiberglass Rendezvous 2015

September 25, 26 and 27 will see the first Mississippi River Escape Rally. Hampton IL, a community that is part of the Quad Cities, is home to a beautiful US Army Corp of Engineers Campground called Fisherman’s Corner. Just feet from the Mississippi River, each campsite gives access to river traffic, bird life and offers a secluded area away from the cities.

Attached is a complete description of the event, instructions for making reservations and a more detailed description of the area. As always, you are welcome to ask questions or make comments. Use the above email address for questions. The rally is open to all.

I hope you will be able to join with other Escapees and spend some time on the "the Big Muddy".

Paul, thank you for organizing this and that is a good write-up for it. Looks as if 17 trailers are already registered. And envy you the sun and Florida!

Cathy, I'll one up you on your quote. Forgive me. I have traveled the world, sometimes only through books.

Janice James

“I've traveled the world twice over,
Met the famous; saints and sinners,
Poets and artists, kings and queens,
Old stars and hopeful beginners,
I've been where no-one's been before,
Learned secrets from writers and cooks
All with one library ticket
To the wonderful world of books.”
