A Facebook page for the Niagara Rally? Not as far as I know. I've just been reading on some of the other all-molded-towable Facebook groups folks were wondering about this event.

Do you know that you don't need a passport for an infant as long as you are crossing into Canada or US by land? Just a birth certificate. Our son still doesn't have a passport for their four year old and they cross often, we have with her as well.

I did not know passport loophole existed. I'll let Teresa know it's not something to worry about. Have a good time in the south, it has to be warmer than your back yard. Thanks Dave.

We also made our reservations for Sept. 13th-17th. Can't wait to see everyone and enjoy the savory scent of Spam and scrapple wafting through the campground.

Cuisine
Hi All,
Who are the Bily brothers,? Who was their famous house guest? Did they eat jaternice? What is jaternice? And have you ever tried it? What breakfast foods would you eat if you had to put hay up in the barn? Booked in: arriving Wed, leaving after breakfast Sunday. Free tarp was a hit, should we do it again? Gotta go, I got a lot of hay down. Vi’tame Vas’

Would love to make this rally some day, just not this year.

Bohemian Alps
Hi Jim
No, I took a drive yesterday to Eastern Tama County when the landform goes from flat ground to a series of fairly steep rolling hills. They were settled by Bohemians as the land resembled their native land. The hills are fondly referred to as the Bohemian Alps. With respect to my Czech heritage, I decided to listen to a movement of Antonin Dvorak’s New World Symhony this morning. I checked the forum and noted a post on the wonderful odors coming through the camp when people cook breakfast outdoors and this led me to think of the last place I bought Czech liver sausage called Jaternice. It was in Spillville Iowa the home of the Bily brothers, famous clock makers and hosts of, wait for it, Antonin Dvorak when he wrote the New World Symphony in 1893. We ate a lot of jaternice growing up. We worked hard in the morning after a hearty breakfast. And that is how an ADHD old man with stream of conscientiousness writing expresses himself. Vi’tame Vas’. Czech for “We welcome you.” I even had it routed on a park sign for a little park across the street from the National Czech and Slovak museum in the area of Cedar Rapids we called “Bohemie Town” Have a good day.

The longer version now clears up any confusion I had. I do like where your mind goes, just not able to follow it all the time. LOL

Loved the blue tarp last year. Passed on a few items to others and picked up an item or two myself. I think i ended up with less than I came with so that was a good thing.

Tarp
I said I wasn’t going to haul anything home that wasn’t taken but I had the room so when I put the tarp away I also put left over items in the tub. Two weeks later we had a repeat at the Mississippi Rally and this time there were only a couple items left which did in fact go to the dumpster. I feel good when someone can use an item I don’t need and know others do too. Double trades make me feel especially good. We will do it again with Alf’s permission. Hoarding will not disable you but tripping over too much junk might. I have some treasures for this year for sure.

When McCormick was still in downtown Baltimore, one did not need a calendar as the waft of spices told you what day it was, thursdays was Old Bay day.
