I added the last photo (Breakfast at Betty's for 42 of us) at the Niagara Wine Escape 2015 page. Had a great weekend; even the weather was good - rain all around us, but only a short period of light rain at the campground.

After having a blow out Thursday evening on the way to Niagara, we arrived at 11 pm, 3 hours past our original ETA. However, it was soon forgotten Friday morning when Iowa Dave and Alf showed up to help us get into our site. Soon I was going around to meet other fellow Escapees, Bill and Earline, "Trees" had a neat night laser set up and 4 more Escapees, all from Canada, a new 5.0 and a new 19 as well as a used 19. Of course it would not be the same without Jon and his camera, thanks Jon for taking the pictures. In addition there were at least 10 other f/g units from FiberglassRV members in attendance, Tony and Roy had their Trilliums and a good time was had by all. Nice meeting everyone.

Here you go Dave, your meat cookies with some Spam, you need to cook them in lard or butter on cast iron to get the crispy texture. BTW, those are your peppers cooking also.....

Hi: All... Well, Niagara Wine Escape 2015 is history. Largest turnout we've ever had 33 trailers I think at Riverside Park, and 44 food weary folks at Betty's for Sunday Brunch. Lost count many times and never did find out who was in site #39. Many thanks to all campers. Without you it wouldn't be possible!!!
Special thanks to Jon... I wouldn't have had the time to take all those pic's and post 'em!!! To those who added to the "Swag" tarp... and the pot luck... many thanks.
Thanks to Reverend Toms for his grace before the meals and any pull he had with the weather!!! We ducked some pretty big downpours!!!
Thanks to Joe at Betty's and Celia at The Riverside Park for the gift certificates... Sorry I hid them in the paper towel rolls!!!
A great big thank you to Reace and Tammy at Escape Trailer Ind. for shipping us so many give away's... and building such a fine array of trailers. All current models were there!!!
See Ya'll next year... God willing and the river don't rise!!! Alf

Niagara Rally

The Niagara Rally lived up to our anticipation! Viewing different models, seeing how others utilized space and all the mods, meeting many great owners and putting faces on people we've met on Forum. From there we headed north to Grundy PP, Manitoulin Island, Lake Superior PP, throwing kayaks in along way. Will try to attach photo of John kayaking on calm day. Soo Locks and home. Many thanks to Alf and Mary Anne for making his rally happen!!!
Trees, John & Diane, the ones in the site enchanted by fireflies!

It was awesome meeting you. Jim and I really enjoyed the Rally and seeing all the creativity with the many different RV models! Loved your enchanted tree on the "invisible" lot #39 !! You have inspired us to consider purchasing some Kayaks - the picture is fantastic! Hope to see you again sometime.
Jim and Rosella, the ones with mint smoothies ...

Enjoyed meeting you too, Jim & Rosella! Our first rally was fun.
Yes, kayaks add a big dimension to our camping.

Hi: dbawden... We will host the Niagara Wine Escape 2016 on Sept. 16-18th. It's a very laid back weekend at "The Falls". Details will follow in the spring of the new year. Alf
