Osoyoos off leash dog parks/beaches

For attendees at the Escape Rally who have water loving dogs, and need off leash exercise, there are several off-leash beach areas: North of Lion’s Park, on the rocky shore on the east side of the Osoyoos Museum, Osoyoos Lawn Bowling Club and Osoyoos Seniors Centre and at Goodman Park on Lakeshore Drive on the east side of town, and Haynes Point.

There is also an off leash park, but not sure where.

Having a water obsessed Australian Shepherd puppy, this will make him a happy, happy dog.

Thanks! Mine may enjoy that, too.

Anyone know W. kelowna? I'm looking for a place to eat lunch with a friend where we can sit outside with the dogs as it will likely be too hot for anything else.

Unfortunately, most patios at restaurants in BC aren't allowed dogs due to health regulations. At some where there aren't fences around the patios you can have your dog on the patio, like McDonalds. I think the BEST place for a dog-friendly lunch in West Kelowna is at Quail's Gate winery. You can't go in the restaurant, but you can bring a picnic, buy a bottle in the wine shop (and they provide plastic wine glasses) and go down to their picnic area in the vineyard which has spectacular views. Our puppy ran around off-leash while we had wine and snacks!

We spent happy hour at an Earl's in North Van yesterday and there was another table in the patio area with two well-behaved dogs. We had a well-behaved grandchild.
