Mexico & Canada poised to push back of US NAFTA demands

Mexico, Canada poised to push back over US NAFTA demands

Published October 17, 2017 Politics Reuters

(AP)

Trade ministers from the United States, Canada and Mexico on Tuesday wrap up a contentious round of NAFTA negotiations dominated by aggressive U.S. demands including a sunset clause that Canadian and Mexican officials say will be rejected.

The Trump administration's proposals to reshape the North American Free Trade Agreement to help shrink U.S. trade deficits have clouded the talks to modernize the 23-year pact, leaving some participants and analysts wondering how an impasse can be avoided.

But what if those "politics" might very well directly affect the price and availability of Escape trailers in the future? Perhaps those prospective purchasers who are sitting on the fence might want to jump off and get busy with their build sheet based on this information. So I see the thread as relevant to prospective owners, not just political for the sake of politics. But perhaps that's just me....
