When you like to see the next show

Ok.. I'm trying to get a sense for a good time to for everyone for the next show.. I have a couple of people willing to be interviewed and would like to try to make it happen on a consistent basis.. Something like every 2nd Wednesday of the month.. or something similar.. What does everyone think..

So far we have lined up, Bruce W ( a recent owner of the 19ft) & Glenn B (now known for drilling holes..) and possibly MosquitoDirk.. I'm also trying to get different companies to be guest/interviewed.. something like a solar panel company or whatever..or Internet providers..

If you have any ideas for something that may be of interest to the members, just let me know..and I'll try to make it happen.

My observation from the first live video chat is that except for putting a face to a name, the forum is more useful than live video. The reason is that the video is fleeting, so ideas or solutions that may be discussed are quickly forgotten, and lack the supporting pix that you get on the forum. I've been thinking about using a proper video camera and audio to augment the cast, but that's getting complicated.

I think Wed. evening is fine.

Well, you're right that video especially live is momentary.. The putting the face to those who are active on the forum, I think is useful if not fun.

I think that hearing from people who have done something different would be good.. Living on the road or taking extended trips would be interesting as well. Maybe those who have done Alaska or Mexico..Kind-of get others charged up to get out there..

As for more educational type shows- How-to's - I'll try to figure out a way to keep it more on track, perhaps keeping it live then editing it and making it more useful i.e. aftermarket companies (solar..restoring..whatever makes sense )

Anyway that's what I was thinking.. but Wednesday around 7:00pm (Pacific) works from my end..

We're on the same page. I agreed to do one, but other than letting people see the twit on the other end, I'm not sure how much I could contribute. Talking with members who have much more experience traveling in a trailer appeals to me.

Damn. I wish they'd stop running that popcorn commercial. I want some.

I can only comment from the interviewee side of things, not ta viewer, but it was fun to do. I know I was a wee bit nervous, but I have never done anything like it. Nonetheless, it was good fun and I look forward to seeing others interviewed.

Just about any time would work for me, there is always a chance I would have something else on the go, but that is life.

Jeff have you ever thought about talking Reace and Tammy into doing a show?

Yep.. I would love to have them on!! I think it would be great.. I'm sure it would be beneficial to everyone, but I think they are really busy.. I sent a couple of emails .. we'll see.
