Looks like there are six opportunities to get the best Christmas gift EVER. Better be good the rest of the year and write a nice letter to Santa.

Hi: Donna D... Make that 2 for Christmas, and 1 for New Years Eve.

Dave, I am a bit surprised to hear that you are going to upsize your Escape 19' to the 21'. You seemed very happy with the 19' the day you showed it to us. Are you able to share what is driving this change?

Deliberated for some time on this one, The open feeling in the centre of the trailer and kitchen counter space are the things we kept coming back to. My concerns with adding size and weight and ease of towing were put to rest with tallking to a couple of people who have towed the 21. In the end I think the 21 will be a better fit for our family For the foreseable future.

In the end it seemed we wouldn't be giving up anything with a 21 over a 19 but we would be gaining a few things that are important to us. If there never was a 21 we could be very happy with out 19 .

This is one reason that it is nice to have these options, everyone has a different set of needs, and there is something to fit most everyone.

I too like the more open feel to the 21, but the layout would not work as well for the two of us, and the 19 has worked very well for us for 5 years now.

The new 5.0 though, that is tempting for a few years down the road.

Our 19 works well too , the kitchen space is really nice when you are on the road and prepping meals while traveling . When we are in one spot most is done outside . But we have some longer trips on the bucket list.

I hear ya, Dave. Alas, I must wait a few money earning years first. This is one of the reasons that the new 5.0 looks so good to me.

We are going back the Olympic peninsula in Washington this summer for a bit over a week. Still trying to figure out logistics on making the trip down the west coast into California. Will need some time to do that properly. Also want to go east across Canada, will also need a chunk of time for that one.

That trip, and Alaska, are first up on the bucket list after retiring. Both deserve a couple months worth of time.
