Just a lame attempt at humour, since the word "interstate" implies that the highway connects with other states. Please ignore.

Oahu has one of the nicest, most advanced Highway systems I've ever driven, shaming the Malahat or TransCanada Highways in terms of ramps, lighting, hidden cell towers and traffic control...... But...we digress.

Since there's an ETI 5er in Great Britain and another heading to The Netherlands soon... I wouldn't count out Hawaii when it comes to someone wanting to own an ETI built trailer.

Maybe once a bridge gets connected from the Hawaiian Island's chain to....anywhere.

Umm... there's no bridge from here to Great Britain or continental Europe, either.
Of course a travel trailer (of any brand) on an island in Hawaii is stuck there, but lots of people enjoy their RVs within a relatively local range.
Back to the production schedule...

There is a connection from Britain to France via the Channel Tunnel.
There are Ferries and Tugs and Barges too.
It may be cost prohibiting to do any of the above with any frequency to the Hawaiian Islands.
Back to the production schedule...

With respect to the production schedule, I assume that the reason for Escape not implementing the 2015 schedule prior to this was that they hand not yet taken/had the time to sort out their optimal/preferred sequence for producing FG bodies in their moulds for 2015. This is likely to take into consideration not only their own production capabilities, but also some estimate of what their potential sales of each model are likely going to be. Once they have a schedule that they are happy with, it is just a matter of letting you fine folks fill all of those empty slots. It is an enviable situation for a manufacturer to have confirmed the sales on most of their product for such a long time in advance. Makes you wonder if there will be expansion plans in the works for the future.

Hi: All... As we all know, quality is job one at ETI. I'm sure Reace doesn't want that to slip into second place by over stretching the production schedule. There also needs to be some room to breathe... I'm also sure the last few months have been hard on both Reace And Tammy. Time to stop and smell the roses too!!! Alf

It has to be extremely difficult running a business the size of ETI on several levels. The headaches of fiquring out production costs on a new design trailer( 5.0 TA) which will change on the fly as they fine tune it with customer feedback. Trying to figure out how currency value changes will affect new inventory costs can be tricky and then add on customers preordering several months in advance, locking the purchase price of the trailer in while inventory costs can escalate has to be worriesome as well... just to name a few challenges. Tammy and Reace are very special people operating a very special business!

Wow. Well, we knew it was coming. Build a better mousetrap and people will beat a path to your door. A couple of years ago it was 4-6 months, last year it was 9 months, and now it's a year.

Just makes those who already own one being in the position of having a marketable commodity with dollar value based upon wait time.

What this doesn't tell you is the number of each actually being planned for manufacture. Perhaps because of the success of the 21 they're backing off slightly on 19's. Hard to tell. I liked the old days, when you could actually see on a calendar what was planned.

Correct, this really is not a schedule, it merely tells us what dates are available, whereas the older way was a schedule.

As a consumer, we really don't need to see production schedules. Just knowing the production dates is good enough.

I agree as a potential customer, but as product owners there is some sort of vested interest in knowing how well the business is going. BTW Jim, have you reserved your slot for your 2017 model, anytime after 12/1/16......

Pretty safe to say, business is going good. Gotta wait to make a new life plan before ordering.

People love a bargain....they're selling at a 20-25% discount for those in the USA at present. Be curious to know the ratio of CAN/USA customers right now.
