I got your back Jack. I prefer the old look, windows, awning, hideaway screen etc. too. I hate to say it but if I would have been waiting on this new model, I think I would have been a
little bit dissappointed. Oh well, as we like to say, we got ours, it's every couple for themselves. Don't think the used market is going to be hurt one bit.

There are support arms underneath the fabric that scissor out.

The Fridge vent is identical to ours.

I like the power awning. Does it have LED lighting as well?

I'm happy with our 2016 we just signed off on. You were right, Jim B, when you said there would be some who prefer the old style. What happens when there is a breeze but not enough that you would want the awning to retract, but it takes that decision away from you? Nope, I prefer the big old "clunky" awning...

And with dogs, I like having the retractable screen so they can't scratch at it like the ones that are attached to the door. They have a tendency to put holes in those type.

As I look at this the Driver Famous Dave is on his way to deliver our New 21'. I love ours that is coming and I love the new ones. The power remote awning sounds cool, but hey I am happy I have one and can get camping. Nice changes and excited to see the ones to come. Who knows maybe we will sometime decide to upgrade to a 5.0TA at some point.....

I'm curious about the missing intake for the refer? The new door is nice, no more gap issues. I hope they are insulated. There are kits available to make the door window open. The screen door can easily be modified like those in the Airstream with dog guard screens, you can now leave the door open with your dogs inside. My 12v awning on the Lance had the vertical arms, as Brian indicates, this set up must have special reinforcement. I love that the rear window now opens and that the small bath/kitchen are split awning style with just the bottom opening versus the others opening the entire length.
never in doubt, often wrong

Looks great and I like the changes. I'm just glad there are not enough changes to make me to have to upgrade.
