You should see my pad, how it has expanded over the past 6 years with different lengths and widths due to different rv models. Looks like a mosaic!!

Hi: reace... NOW I'M starting to get "EGG CITED"!!! Had to take a PILL to sleep last night. All those sleepless nights you've had have really paid off...I can tell. Looks a winner from here. Alf

Hi: cpaharley2008... Not according to Reace. Besides I'm retired not in need of new tires...yet.
For the Fronty they will lower the shackles down and also the pin box... so the whole trailer will sit lower. Reace figures a 500lb. weight gain so I'm thinking that's still ok with 6100# tow cap. I'm sure there are some here that will disagree with that, but there should be no need to pull with a dually anything, unless you already own one. I already got my trailer tow extendable mirrors for the extra wide load. Alf

I thought when you said "extra wide load" you were referring to any weight gain due to retirement living in Florida!!!! I'm glad you are enjoying life.

Some hook-up photos.
Center of hitch is approx. 30" back from cab. Box length is 5'-6".
Keep in mind, this unit was raised for a taller truck!
I turned the trailer almost 90 degrees, and still have approximately 1" space before the trailer would hit the cab of the truck.
Also a photo hitched up with tailgate down.
I love it when a plan comes together!

I can't imagine steadying my nerves to cut those holes on the first TA.

I have to admit that i always thought the original 5.0 with a single axle was a little odd looking, this looks awesome. looks balanced and just right .

Thanks for posting the pics of the 5er hooked up. I was concerned I may have to purchase a longer bed truck and really didn't want to go with a long bed. Too hard to park at work, etc.
swoon!
