Hope it works for you Myron. I have a set of Magma cookware. The frying pan is 9-1/2". Works fine on my non-recessed stove.

I would like to know the price of that new Escape 2-burner recessed cooktop but Escapes' website does not tell it, Amazon doesn't sell it, and Suburban's website doesn't list that model. They do show their Euro Series model, (the FC1336 flush mount) pictured here.
Myron: This is the SD-S2 stove

At the price they want for it I would seriously consider a Dickinson Marine cooktop which can be had for around $500.

Geez, saw the post heading and almost had heart failure. I thought it was going to say that the new recessed top had been discontinued and they were going back to the old style.

Really like the recessed top, had them in RVs and think that they're good where counter space is limited.

I had the same reaction when I saw the price, Ron.

Not quite, TD. I read it as $149 just for the glass top cover itself. Wondering now if Escape would be willing to sell their new style stove choice at a nice fat savings.
