I get the impression that most of the people on the Facebook pages aren't experienced enough to offer much, beyond "Congratulations" and "I'm so excited" and "Beautiful pictures".
This is my go to site.

There are actually lots of folks on Facebook who are knowledgeable technically, many post here. This site is definitely more techie in content, whereas Facebook is more about where to travel, posts of travel, and folks looking to buy asking questions.
I definitely favour this site for repair and remodelling info, but Facebook is more sociable which seems to unfortunately be diminishing here.

Not all Facebook groups are created equal. It's up to the owner of the group, any admins and moderators to determine rules. I moderate five groups and am an admin on three. I own none however.

The admin of the Facebook group, while being a really tough guy, is quite accepting of socialization.

There's an Escape Trailer Industries Molded Fiberglass Trailers "Page" that seems to be managed by folks at ETI. That's where they asked for ideas about US rally and announced sales.. etc. This "Page" is different than the multiple Escape users "Groups" dotted on Facebook...
