Congratulations on the 50% increase in production! A lot of work and planning no doubt.

Congratulations on the expansion! Looks like things are progressing well. That's really good news and I'm hoping that will move up my hatch date!! So hard to be patient but it looks like the days may be getting shorter!

Actually ETI is doubling their output per shift, from one to two units. So a 100% increase in production and wait times will drop.

At this time it might be tough to meet making only 1 1/2 shells a day. They will have to get it up to 2 a day to double output, but in time they very well could be, seeing they have not been in the new glass shop for very long. I know double is their goal.

Yes I agree, now they are at 1.5 but their goal shortly will be 2 per shift... per Reace...For the immediate future, we are setting up for 2 trailers per 8 hour shift. The fiberglass shop will be able to achieve that shortly, however the production line needs to be completed in order to keep up.

Production lines

Hi Reese,
Those of us anxiously waiting for our trailers, really appreciate the effort you are putting into increasing production!

We have not been to your facility, but plan to visit the end of Feb. I'm sure, with a visit, I'd know the answer to this question, but I don't want to wait.

Do you produce each trailer model on a different production line, produce them in batches (a specific amount of time producing one model then switching to the next) or produce them intermingled on the same production line?

Thanks, Richard and Vicky Reed

We have one production line and currently, we build the different size trailers in production blocks, such as 5-19', 4-17', 4-21' with the 5.0 squeezing in between the trailers blocks.

We are in the process of completely revamping the way the trailer assembly happens. We are focusing the production heavily on prepping parts for the trailers with a core group of installers. This new program will allow us to build the trailers individually rather than in blocks.

Just to be clear, we are not changing the integrity of the build design, just spreading out the process. Some of you may be finding that this has impacted a bit on the customizing side. We are still fairly flexible, however things are tightening up here and there in an effort to keep things moving along.
