Expansion Update
Well, the new fiberglass shop is finally in full swing! Still finishing things here and there and realizing that not everything is fitting in the spot it was supposed to... but overall things are moving in the right direction. At this time the crew is making 1-1/2 trailers in an 8 hour shift. Previously they could only build 1 trailer per shift and had to work Saturday's in an effort to get 6 trailers per week. They are enjoying the new space and new equipment which is making the process much more efficient for them.

Now the renovations start on the production building!
This was the previous fiberglass shop. We have already removed half of the upper mezzanine to make room for another bay door and the start of the assembly line.
Next step is to fully remove the divider wall, install the new bay door, upgrade the lighting and get some power in the correct spots. Hopefully in a couple of weeks the assembly will swing over to this side...then we can start renovations in the middle area.

Glad to see things are progressing along. Lots of anxious folks waiting on their trailers to be built and looks like the wait might be a little shorter due to all the additions and improvements you are making. The future for Escape Trailers is looking brighter and brighter.

What is the production goal once things get settled in, Reace, or is the 1 1/2 per 8 hours the goal and you're hitting where you want to be going forward?

Wow, that is a 50% increase in productivity. It must be hard to renovate while in production but Reace seems to be successful. Re: german shepherd, Escape has several "junkyard" dogs that secure the premises at night, during the day they sleep at Tammy's feet for warmth.

Congratulations to the whole Escape team. I know there is a lot of work that goes into moving production lines while still in production. Keep up the great work.

For the immediate future, we are setting up for 2 trailers per 8 hour shift. The fiberglass shop will be able to achieve that shortly, however the production line needs to be completed in order to keep up.
The company with all the wood in the front building on the property has finally moved out! There is still quite a bit of lumber in the yard that they have to move but the buildings are empty. We now have crews in gutting that building in preparation for Tammy's offices. Much on the go happening all at once...but hoping to have everything ready for spring.

Congratulations! Hard to believe that when I ordered in 2013 they had a challenge to keep everyone employed during the winter!

That scrap lumber can be given to each new owner for their first campfire with their new Escape....a give away present.
