March 24 Unveil

One of the reasons we set a late March date for the unveil was to ensure we had all of the new features in hand. Should have been no problem...

Well, we are still waiting for the last key component. I just received confirmation that the shipment is expected to arrive on March 23. If that happens...a big if... all will go as planned on March 24. I am going to assume the shipment will not arrive on time and the unveil will be delayed. If I plan for a delay...it should show up on time...

I will keep updating

Ack! How frustrating for you folks!

Thanks for the update and I'm sure we'll all be checking this thread for any updates on March 23rd and/or the 24th.

We're all waiting with bated breath, as well as being on pins and needles.

Gee, Alf: I thought you were acquainted with Murphy and his big book of laws, corollaries, and lemmas.

Thanks for the information, hope the reveal is sooner rather than later, I hope to be ordering a 21 on April 01. Will this in anyway affect that?

The basic principle behind the reveal...then the April 1 order date is we want to ensure customers know what they are ordering on April 1. This is important as the current model will no longer be produced once all the existing 2016 orders are completed.

There is a few days the week prior to the 1st for a delayed shipment to arrive, so I think all will be good...just might squeeze the absorbing time of the new look!

Will the 2017 features and options be posted on the ETI web page on the 24th?

There has been some confusion in earlier feature and options changes; the 5.0 to 5.0TA transition was particularly rocky. It would be great if ETI duplicated the current product pages, putting "2017" in the names of one set, and making the 2017 updates only to that set. The new features could be shown in the photo galleries for the new models.

My understanding is the photos along with standard features and options list will be posted on the forum first, then the website will be updated shortly after. Tammy is away until the 25th, so I would presume everything will take shape once she returns...
