One more comment, David.

In the downloadable brochure is a section called Noteable Features.

In the opening paragraph you talk about the fiberglass construction of the body and state “This eliminates any chance of water penetration…” Just below, the first comment is “The trailers are manufactured with a 100% molded fiberglass body eliminating any risk of leaks.”

I know your intended meaning is just the unpenetrated shell but you don’t say that. There are multiple body penetrations each of which creates a potential source of leaks. Roof A/C unit, roof vents, refrigerator vent and access panel, HWH, windows, compartment doors, entry door, etc.

Sweeping, no-exception statements are best avoided. They simply open you to a host of water related damage claims caused by any shell penetration.

Granted that leaks might be rare and damage slight, but just the same, all inclusive statements are easily disproven. All I would need to do to prove your statement false would be to find one, just one, example of a body leak going back to the very first unit built.

The word “eliminates” could simply be replaced with “minimizes” and now you're covered from nitpickers like me.

Wow, I like the new flooring options! Assume that Formica options beyond the 5 or so still available. And the horribly busy standard fabric is not the only choice. Nice changes to see.

My 2007 17B leaked, not the fiberglass shell, the 9" x 9" bathroom vent (replaced), and the seal on the small front dinette window shrunk (removed seal, sealed with black RTV gasket sealant).

Still the best trailer on the market.

More Detail on the Options

We recently submitted our build sheet. We had Joldie Coombes as our sales specialist. A pretty easy process, mainly because we already had an Escape and we knew what we wanted right off the bat.

Escape needs to provide more detail on the options to eliminate common questions. I had asked exactly what options were available for rims, exactly which WDH hitch was offered, and which battery it came with.

It would be nice if the options list had specs and a couple pictures of each options.

It would also be nice if there was a Build Sheet FAQ section you could browse before final submission.

WE just received the pix of our E21 as finished. They did exactly as we asked..wardrobe at top, + added large cabinet atop the 2 drawer cabinet at foot of bed and MW under range. WE didn't even know about these changes/additions except we heard about it from someone posting it on a forum!!! Escape Customer Service is A-1 in our book!! I am sure some folks will hate having both large cabinets being at the top, but that is what Holly wanted and .."if momma ain't happy."....well you know the rest ;-) I wd post some pix, but I still canot figure that process out...sorry.

Holly,
Can you post your pictures so that others can see and enjoy them. Either in this thread or here http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...yond-8031.html
that way there is a historical picture history. As you know, looking at pictures can help you make color and option decisions.

I posted this photo posting cheat sheet to another thread but here it is again. Another way to open the attachments dialog box is to hit the paper clip icon.

There were photos with some of the options and accessories in the old site... so this is another downgrade.

Not necessarily a downgrade, if I recall the option photos were within the last couple of years, initially there were none. I'm sure the new owners will be posting the option photo's eventually.
They just sent the first of the E21 LE mock up on the sales floor.

Sure, the website was upgraded to include option and accessory photos, then downgraded to the current site without them.

It makes no sense to me to publish the new site without content which was already available, provided to the customers, and appreciated by customers.

Glad to see they have expanded the "Build Your Trailer" page to include all of the available options and pricing.

Jim: You already moved them as they were in the 21 LE thread which was misleading as they have a regular 21

Our interior pix are at : http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...-8031-129.html

page 129 of that thread to be exact. I hope this link works!
If not, then go to Escape ME ....and scroll down to Visual Escape, then follow to page 129. Should work. NOTE that the large cabinet we added is not, AFAICT in the 'option list' of the company's website. We heard about this extra cabinet thru reading various forums. The added large cabinet is in place of the free space above that "2 drawer cabinet" which is seen on the website as being ....aft of the front bed...on the driver's side.
Also, for esthetic purposes, we had ETI build the std wardrobe cabinet also at the top, since Holly wanted it that way..and bks we had moved the MW to the cabinet under the range.
