Fire next to ETI Showroom

A friend of ours is watching a live video feed of what appears to her to be a fire in the area of ETI. She is watching it on Chilliwack Crime and Safty which appears to be a closed face book group.
It is to late for it to make the 11 pm news.
I hope she is wrong...

There was a fire Feb. 5 near ETI.
Maybe she's confused, or maybe there as been a third fire.
UPDATE – Chilliwack Fire – Two Industrial Fires – Hours Apart – Both Considered Accidental (VIDEO) – FVN

UPDATE
Just saw video on CTV Vancouver that showed a lot of smoke billowing from a building with Escape Trailer Industries sign in the foreground. Hopefully, it's the business next door to ETI.

Just a 1 min blip on the 11:30 news. Looks like it is the building just left of the show room. I was able to get a screen shot off the tv. The other is a screen shot from the Escape video. That was very close...

Oh that makes me feel better, the reports I was getting were making me very unhappy.

I have heard the “ headliner?” building.

Been a number around that area unfortunately.

I am not sure if they use that building to the left or not but it is behind their gate.
The showroom looks OK.

Chilliwack Crime and Safety patrol was there filming before the fire trucks arrive...I was told. I guess because of the other fires in the area they are keeping a close watch...somebody buy them a coffee and donuts.

Well, that's suspicious.

Would have to agree, this many fires in that short a time frame in that close a proximity sure does smell fishy to me. Hope no one was injured.

Enjoy the journey.

Good grief! As if we weren't already chewing our fingernails as we get ready to leave in a week to head to Chilliwack to pick up our 5.0TA, now this - trying to imagine our trailer sitting out in the parking lot behind the building with that fire raging next door. We'll be watching eagerly for updates, sure hope this didn't impact ETI.

I hope no one was injured and that disruption for ETI is minimal. From a google maps shot those buildings to the left do appear to be part of Escapes operation, but the main buildings are lined up behind the front building and are hopefully ok.

OMG, shades of Scamp. It does look like a 3 bay garage on Escapes property.

Yes...sad but true...one of our production buildings and two storage buildings went up in flames last night!
The fire started around 10 pm when no one was around so no one was hurt.
We lost 2 trailers in production and a bunch of inventory raw materials ... nothing we can’t rebuild or purchase and get back on our feet.

Reace 😳

So happy no one was hurt. To those of us lucky enough to purchase Escape trailers they are a luxury, but to all of you at ETI they are your livelihood - hope you are able to get things going again quickly and the impact to your operation isn't too great.

I need to see pictures of this terrible thing. Hoping it wasn't arson.

Glad to heard no one was hurt, most unfortunate that trailers were damaged and supplies lost. Hope the dogs are okay if they were in that area.

Cheers
