For a solo traveler, the curved levelers work great. Just watch the belly band in the mirror, and with practice, get it right most times in one shot. I have a set of non curved, but tapered levelers that work almost as well, and fit between the wheels without cutting, however they don't have the range & still need chocks.

As soon as I got the trailer home from Chilliwack, I installed one of these on the front of the trailer above the storage box and one on the front passenger side of the trailer.

The level is big enough that I can see it in the rear view mirror. I jocky the trailer back and forth to find the most level area in my parking spot and then use the graduations to determine how many legos I need to add. Each graduation is one inch that needs to be added.

LOL! I think it was the photographer that was not level!

I’m glad the slide-out drawers worked for you!

Will the curved levelers work as well with the 17B?

Did you attach them using screws?

I have curved levelers for our 21' but they are neither of these 2 brands, can't remember the brand but they are designed for heavier trailers. I have the same issues at times as far as the back one slipping out, depends on the surface it seems.

Some of you have mentioned grove you cut in it that helps with that, can you post a picture of that please.

My most problem is the one that goes between the tires, I had to cut it and maybe need to cut it a little more because sometimes backing off it gets wedges between the tires and is a pain in the ..... to get out.

Enjoy the journey.

I've had good luck with the Beech Lane curved levelers. They are slightly cheaper than the Andersen but the bigger draw for me is they are black, not bright red.

If you are a solo traveler and not as talented as Jon, I can recommend the Level Mate Pro. It mounts in the camper and you set level on the device once. Then on all future sites I can see how level we are while I'm backing in from my phone/tablet. Often if I keep an eye on the app while backing I can find a spot in the site that is within 1/4" of level...and that is close enough for me.

They should both be trimmed, otherwise the two wheels will not be raised the same amount when driving onto the levelers. One will start at 1/2 inch, and the other at 1 inch (or whatever the one is cut to).

Whoa! That Andersen red is obnoxious. If I were purchasing new these would be the ones!

Enjoy,

Perry

One-half inch on one leveler just means you'd be off 1/4". Not enough to have any significant difference.

For the past three years, we've used the Andersen Rapid Jack (7" rise) for the front wheel and the Andersen Leveler (4" rise) for the back and not any problems.

Enjoy,

Perry

I recently got a flat tire while traveling and used one Andersen Leveler under the good tire to raise the trailer enough to change the tire. It was just barely enough but it worked. We were on slightly unlevel ground and if I have to do it again, I will move the trailer to a level spot.

I hired three different employees who were later named the top park maintenance person in the state of Iowa. One of those fellows cut my Anderson’s down and they are both the same length. Why not do it right if you’re gonna do it? You are not wrong.
I may not have skills but I got a guy who does.

Who said you were wrong? I just said,"Not enough to have any significant difference." Works for me and glad it works for you.

Enjoy,

Level Mate Pro was the first thing I installed at Lynden. Love it. Next thing installed was RVLOCK and like it even better.

I considered level mate pro but i do the same as Jon...look at the belly band as I back up. It's pretty easy to come really close.

I have wondered why the ETI level for side to side is in the back rather than front of the trailer. Anyone know?
