Dishpans

Now that I have a trailer suitable for winter camping, I have found that I prefer to do the dishes in the trailer during those months. This dishpan fits perfectly within the standard SS sink yet the lips allow it to be lifted out to dispose of the dirty dishwater outside. Although it is not as sturdy as a Rubbermaid product, it does work. Unfortunately, I could find single pans (black and white) only at Walmart here so for the second time in my life I had to shop at that store:

They also had this product which is great for catching drips under the dish drainer or errant slops when doing the dishes in such small confines:

The Camco dish pan was designed for the standard sink ETI installs. It's a perfect fit and very sturdy with a lip that sits on top of the edge of the sink. We love ours.

We never do the dishes in the trailer. The truth of the matter is that although we both grew up in New England, and moved to Florida from New Hampshire where the winters can be long and frigid, we are both acclimated to Florida and anything below 50 degrees now feels like winter weather. As a result, if the forecast calls for temps below 50, we stay home. But when the summer heat hits, we can't get out of Florida fast enough. At this point in time, I find it hard to imagine camping in temps where we would have to do dishes inside. My hat is off to all those who enjoy cold weather camping!
