Sorry, I was being facetious. Hikers are hiking boots, and no, no one has invented electric boots, yet.

Gotcha. I've been known to be fictitious at times myself.

Electric folding fat bike Voltbike Mariner

I hope to order my Mariner by Voltbike tomorrow before their sale ends Nov 30. Just need a few questions answered first. They are located in Burnaby BC so if something goes terribly wrong I can knock on their door and look them in the eye.
Of course they ship in the US out of their US warehouse just across the line.
Price shown in link is in Canadian $...free shipping...free helmet...$200 off.

That looks good. I was looking for specs, particularly wheelbase and standover height. Have you run across those?

I did run across a spec list somewhere last night that gave further info but I can’t locate it right now. It answered my question of the total length being 67 inches. The bar is way lower than the Rad and I think about as low as your going to find on a bike style..
I am sure it will arrive within a week (past the sale) but you can ask me any measurement you want then. OR just email the company...he answered all my questions at 10 pm last night!

Got my new Voltbike Mariner and it has great build quality...I am very impressed. Also a lot of upgrades since the video reviews.
The axle to axle measurement is 46 1/4 inches and the frame rise is under 24 inches to the top of the hinge.

I know a lot of Escape owners use a Ford F-150 to tow...as I will, so here is how the Voltbike Mariner fits in the back on the flat floor. There is no problem when folded for two bikes to fit and be lashed securely in the rear. However I think there is enough room to put two in just standing up...that will be our long term plan.

That's a little better than the Rad mini on both- their standover height is 26 and wheelbase is 43. (Shorter wheelbase is wobblier which matters more with a heavy bike.)

Rad has the step-through City Bike (not folding) on their website now but no specs last I checked.
