Linda mentioned in the first post needing to raise up the cover. This is true. I purchased a nice wooden cutting board to cover the two burner stove in Ten Forward. The control knobs are a tad bit taller than the burner grates. It sits loop sided. THAT's not going to work. I'll figure out something to add to the bottom corners to even it up. I'm still glad I didn't get the metal stove cover. YMMV.

Here's one with feet, don't know if it's the right size for the 2 burner?

Donna, could you not just get someone with a big forstner bit (or even maybe a spade bit) to recess holes where the knobs are? That way you would not be cutting higher on the feet when it is not on the stove. Just a thought.

Thanks Kathie! I actually like the cutting board I bought. Just need to make it work. That's something worth looking into Jim. I'll deal with this after the Oregon Gathering. I'm running out of time and way too many other things to get done this week. AND, I'm working the next four days!

Donna, as a christening gift I'll make you a free stove cover/serving tray to which you can fasten your cutting board - white ABS like all my other stuff, but you can paint it with Krylon if you want. Just send me dimensions through my site.

How kind of you Charlie! Give me until after the Oregon Gathering, okay? Ten Forward is in a rented storage yard right now so I don't have easy access to give you measurements.

Donna, no problem - I'll be out until August 1 myself.
