Hot springs in the Mountains ... now we are talking. And the real ones , not the like the ones in Banff and Radium that are glorified swimming pools

Unless you grew up swimming in South Louisiana bayous.

I've heard of that area and would love to go there. I'll bring a case of wine and a gallon of chlorine.

Neighbor found about a two foot long gator in his yard this past weekend that had his mouth taped shut with electricians tape. Terribly cruel. Gator expert estimated he hadn't eaten in maybe 6 months. Took the tape off and he ate ground up shrimp right away. They let him go in the bayou to grow up. If you come to south Louisiana better bring more than chlorine....and don't come till November!

Animal cruelty makes my blood boil.

But to stay on topic, I think the hot tub thingy is a hoot! Don't want one, wouldn't use one, but still. I see a lot of "strange" (to me) things done when folks want to go camping that I wouldn't consider, ever. Like a home A/C unit sticking out a window of a TENT, etc., etc. Who am I to tell folks what they should do or want? I live in the Pacific NorthWET and most months out of the year if we don't use the water for something... it heads for the ocean via rivers and streams. At least with a portable hot tub, when draining the water it can be used to "water" the area scrubs and trees.... along with the ice water from the coolers!

I did notice that the manufacturer is located in Portland, OR., where there's lots of water.

So it's OK if you're in an area that has no water shortages. Enjoy.

Water flows downhill, and BC, Washington and Oregon have lots, so what's California's problem?
