Embedded Ads

Is there any way to eliminate the ads in these threads that show up EVERYWHERE when using an iOS mobile device - iPhone or iPad?

Try using Tapatalk. Despite numerous negative reviews, I really enjoy using it on my iPad Air and iPhone 5c. And no ads.

I haven't noticed so much here, but over on FGRV, some of the posts have become almost incomprehensible since members started using the app and allowing spell-check on their iPad or iPhone to re-write their thoughts.
It's always best to re-read your post before hitting send.

Using Tap A Talk on my iPhone 5 or Ad Blocker on my iMac keeps me clear of the stuff.

Be sure you are logged in as there are fewer ads when logged in.

This is from an ad over on FGRV:

"Large poser supply, sired for AC and DC".

Let me add my 2-cents worth. I personally cannot stand Tapatalk and use the "full sight" on my iPhone. I find the embedded ads far less obnoxious than Tapatalk. That is, of course, my preference and I realize some folks think Tapatalk is the best thing since sliced bread.

No Tapatalk for me, either - and I don't see any embedded ads on my iPad, viewing the "full site" via Safari app (I am always logged in). There's a banner ad across the top and a square ad block on the right side of the screen, but no ads are embedded in the discussion threads... at least, not so far.

I use Tapatalk on my phone, and MUCH prefer it over the full version. It makes browsing, reading, and posting so much easier. Maybe if I had a tablet, it might be different.
