Running Google on my iPad and response times are fine. As I said earlier a desktop PC with Windows 7 and IE 10 just creeps along. It reminds me of the dial up days, how quick we forget.

Lot of variables...could be traffic into the forum server, or overall general network slowdown somewhere regionally. That would have more to do with it, I believe, than a particular browser.

santacruzer, you must be right that it is a traffic issue because it has nothing to do with IBM or Apple or what browser since some are slow and some are fast for each.

I'm getting the exact same pop-up, but I'm running IE9. It's really aggrevating .

Yes, I can change browsers. But, it would behoove the administrators to figure this out if they wish this forum to grow members. Most folks are on PCs and using IE.

If I was looking for information specificially about an Escape trailer and as a new member, had problems like I'm seeing.. I'd say it wasn't worth the pain and go to some other forum and maybe check out some other brand of trailer...

Are the administrators aware of the problem?

I keep getting a Windows Explorer message: "Stop Running This Script? A Script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive." The only way I can continue is to hit YES to stop running the script. This happens every time I change pages. Very annoying. I am running IE8 and Windows 7. My computer is not running slowly.

Oops, spoke too soon! Both of us were unable to even connect to the forum for a while. Seems to be alright now though. Intermittent issue?

Most folks i know of mostly use Firefox or Chrome, with Safari a bit too. They all had got frustrated at different times, for different reasons with IE, and bailed. When I made the change, I was blown away by the performance difference. This would have been 3 or 4 years ago, and lots has changed by now.

The site is back to its usual quickness for me. It was a temporary slowdown. I use Firefox 22.0 and I'm on Shaw Cable.

I am on Mac, Firefox and sitting outside a coffee shop in the middle of nowhere, using their WiFi. No problems here.
