19' Scott "Cottage", Oct. 1 date, needs your help

Forum has been very helpful in making decisions, esp DonM's plea that you spend his money. :-)

We need input.
#1. Since a day is not complete without TV news and Big Bang Theory, where do we put TV arm in 19'?

#2. A month in Fl in March can get hot & humid.
Need first hand experience from folks who run AC with 2000 watt generator.
How well does generator run either the Dometic 11,000 BTU or the Polar Bear 9,200 BTU?
How well do either function on generator or plugged in at the county parks we frequent?

Have spent 45+ years with umbrella tent, pop up camper, backpack tent, 27' 5th wheel.
Now downsizing. Can not go with 21' as can't get good nights sleep in smaller than queen size bed. At our ages, making up dinette every night too much of hassle, much less need to have his body warmth for my cold feet!

Appreciate your input.
Diane

We have our trailer wired and ready to mount a TV on the gable beside the galley, though in 4 years now have never felt the need for a TV. A fire pit seems to be a much better alternative. We have watched about 3 movies in that time on a laptop though, when just the two of use, and it was real ugly outside.

No problem running the Polar Cub with a 2kW genset. Not sure about the Dometic though. Neither would be an issue if hooked to the grid.

Thanks Jim for voe of confidence on Polar Cub. Need to be off the grid at times, although our two fave county parks have '30 amp bushes' at each site. :-)
