21' Escape driving through Vegas any time soon?

Hi Escape People:

I'm considering ordering an Escape, either a 19' or 21'. I haven't been able to view a 21' model yet, and I really feel like I should. Is anyone traveling through The Las Vegas area any time soon?

Not sure how this site works or how to arrange contact. Is it safe to post one's phone number or email address here?

Linda

Hi What I did was contact Escape. They forwarded a couple of contacts that were about 90 miles distance with the model I was interested in. I arranged a visit. Drove the 90 miles. Saw the trailer. Drove to the nearest Chick-Fil-A and ordered the trailer while I ate my chicken sandwich. Good Luck

Hello. Thank you so much for your response. Unfortunately the closest 21' is almost a 2 hour drive from us. I'm trying to avoid that 4- hour round trip journey.

Mine only took a 3 1/2 hour drive but I'm retired and really wanted to see one.

Ah... that explains it. I'm NOT retired and I'm a very busy single mom. 4 hours that I can't cook, grocery shop, do yard work, do laundry, or work... is not very good for me.

: )

Welcome Linda, to our Escape world. As others have mentioned, 4 hours is minimal when trying to see an Escape. My first E19 in 2012 was one of only a handful on the other side of Mississippi so availability to view was rare. As Escape has grown, so has it's owners and finding an Escape within a days drive is more commonplace. In addition, if a used one comes up for sale, they sell quick and owners have been known to drive halfway across country to get one. Contact the factory (cloud this Monday for holiday) and make the jump, you will not be disappointed.

I've already contacted Linda at Escape Trailers. There just aren't any 21' trailers living in my area. This is why I was asking if anyone would be traveling through Vegas any time soon. I would assume that many of the Escape Trailer owners are actually out and about and traveling around. Vegas is a destination type location, as well as a spot to travel through. Anyone with a 21' model going to be traveling this way? Thank you.

Gori--
This is said with all due respect to Linda (who I happily worked with last fall ordering my Escape 19) and our neighbors to the north generally, but sometimes, just as U.S. folks don't appreciate the geography of Canada, Canadians aren't completely tuned into to American distances, particularly across state lines. Four hours from Las Vegas gets you to Phoenix or Los Angeles. You might ask Linda whether there is anything available in St. George's UT or Lake Havasu City or Kingman, AZ.

LOVE IT! I totally understand what you're saying... on top of that geography was never my strong suit (and I am personally completely clueless about Canada). That being said...there is a unit in St. George. I am just attempting to avoid a 4 hour round trip car ride. I know, I know, Escape trailers are special, rare, worth the trip, etc. I'm just trying to be practical here, especially with all those Escape trailers traveling all over the US as I type this.

So.... On the chance that anyone with a 21' Escape is going to be traveling to or through Las Vegas any time in the next few months - please contact me. My daughter and I would love to meet you and see your fine trailer : )

Why are Escape trailers worth the drive?

Very low depreciation
Strong value
Easy to tow and light and aerodynamic
Great conversation at the campground
They don’t leak and rot
With a little wax, they look new forever
Very long life expectancy ,compare to Trillium and Boler, 50 years

When I bought my 17b, I drove 2 hours each way. I just sold it to a family from Montreal, 8 hours each way, that’s over 16 hours round trip. Soon we’ll be looking for a 5.0TA
