About to Order a 19 Footer!

Hello Everyone! We live in the Yukon and are about to take the plunge and order the 19 foot model.

We have a 2012 Honda Pilot, which as near as I can figure based on research and reading posts on this forum, will pull the 19 footer well. I am a little worried how it will do driving up and down that Alaska Highway as there are some wicked mountains to get through, but hopefully it will be OK.

If anyone has experience with using the Pilot to tow, I would be really interested to hear from you.

PS: We did consider the 17 foot model, but my husband is 6'4 and we really need a queen size bed! LOL

No issues at all pulling with our Pilot, even through mountain passes. A couple times I did slow down to keep the revs down and take it easy on the engine, other than that the speed limit all the way. We do not usually have our 19 loaded too much though, finding with the trailer and tow storage we do not now need the storage box. We don't have A/C yet either. This leaves a nice buffer between actual weight and towing weight.

Have fun figuring out which options you want, then enjoy once you take possession.
