Did it-17B!

Hi Everyone,
Made my down payment yesterday for a 17B. Will be ready to pick up 10/14/15.
As difficult as it is going to be to wait that long, it's probably for the best, lots to do -- have already started organizing/clearing out/giving away and will shoot for 10/1 to rent or sell my condo. (Planning on being a full-timer)
I've only been on this forum a short time but have learned SO MUCH from everyone. It is greatly appreciated!!!
Ellen

Congratulations! The nine-month wait for our 19' will be up in February. The time went much faster than we expected.

Thanks! And congratulations to you as well! Interesting how time always flies by so quickly and I wish it would slow down -- for the first time since I was seven years old, I would like it to speed up a bit this coming year!

If you get a chance, try to get to Chilliwack and visit ETI. This makes for a great vacation in itself and by actually seeing all of the trailers and options, you will know you did right. Plus Reace and Tammy will give you the royal treatment. Enjoy. Loren

Would love to fly to Chilliwack but prices were pretty high. Decided it might be best to save the $ for all those tempting little options on the build sheet. (Will also have to get a towing vehicle) From reading this forum, I feel very confident I made the right decision. Still, if I can find a way, would really love to get up there. Will see how things go. Thanks, Loren!

Congrats on your purchase, Ellen. Time will likely go slow at first, then accelerate a lot for you.

Congratulations Ellen, and welcome. I'll echo what some others have said -- the time goes faster than you think. We ordered in June, and now we have only a month before our trailer goes into production.

One month -- soooo exciting. Can't wait to see photos and hear details. What color did you pick for your graphics?

Hi Ellen,

Congrats on new escape! Mine is scheduled for next year, too! And the waiting is hard, but it is giving me more time to check the various options available. This list is great for getting this type of infomation.

Linda

Thanks, Linda and congratulations back atcha! Yup, I think I'd be lost without all the information on this forum! I just started writing down all the things I have to do before I leave in October and it's a good thing there's this much time.

We have our second Escape on order and don't mind waiting as it will be worth every minute of it once its done.

We picked Dark Red for the graphics - just slightly different than the stock color. The trailer name will be in a font called "Poetsen One" -- different than the Escape font.

Thanks - was thinking of yellow but not sure that it will show up well enough.
Nice font! - Didn't know we could even pick our fonts. Very cool.

Welcome Ellen. I know it will be a perfect fit. The hard (and fun) part is deciding the details.

Just to clarify, the font is only for our trailer name -- not for the word Escape where it normally appears. I think of that as part of the branding.

Make sure you include quote marks for the name "Past Tents"
It signals that that is the name and not just some random words.
Mine says Toad, not "Toad". Pretty much the only thing I regret.

Everyone on this forum is the greatest. With all of this information being shared, those of us with pending build sheets can't mess things up to badly, can we? Loren
