Finally...

We are finally going to pick up our new trailer on April 12th.. It seems like such a long time ago we placed the order, but time has snuck up on us and it's now time. We have almost outfitted the trailer with the exception of a BBQ. I will try and attach a photo here but the forum is new to me.Click image for larger version

Congrats on the 19'. Looks like we have a similar outside graphic color. Lots of fun for you ahead. The Spitfire 180 grill (recommended on this forum) has been terrific for us.

Shake down trip...

Well after a year of waiting, we picked up our trailer and towed it to its new home on Vancouver Island..

After a furious couple of days packing all the necessities we hooked up the Escape and made a mad dash out Camping.. This was our first trip and boy it couldn't have been better. We ended up at a nice provincial campground called Stoltz pool along the picturesque Cowichan River. Took about fourty five minutes to set up the trailer and camp. We had a gourmet meal, BBQ rib eye steak and all the trimmings. A big thanks goes out to Reece at ETI for hooking our BBQ up to use our low pressure gas line we had put in !

When the bugs got bad we headed inside and watched a movie on the TV we purchased. Wife said it was getting a bit chilly so reached over turned on the furnace and I a few minutes we were toasty warm. Next thing I know I woke up at 08:00 to birds chirping. I got up flashed up the new Honda EU 2000 generator and made some coffee and toast.. Lots of looking lews and smiles.

We were greeted with lots of questions showed the trailer to a few people walking by asking questions. It was the fastest three days of our lives and we were sorrily packing for home. Can't wait till next time.. Way to go Escape Trailers !

Doesn't get any better than that. The longer you own it, the more you will enjoy it. And you'll get faster on the setup.
