Formal hello

I have posted here a couple of times before but thought I would formally introduce myself considering we finally have our 19 foot trailer as of last week. My wife and I have been retired for a few years and have trailered before. We sold our 24 ft. Airstream 3 years ago and started getting the urge to go camping again. So we put a notice on the forum here last fall, for a used 19 ft. The next day we got an email from a couple who live about 5 miles down the road. They are having a 21 ft. built and wanted to know if we would wait until it was finished and then buy their 2011 model. We said yes and they pick up their new trailer in a few days. The power of the internet. We couldn't wait to get out for a shakedown camp so we went to Deer Lake (the pin on the map close to Harrison Hotsprings) last weekend. We were very happy with our first adventure in our "new to us" trailer. We live in Abbotsford, BC close to Chilliwack. Looking forward to keeping in touch with you all.

Congratulations on your new trailer. We loved Sasquatch park and camped at both Deer and Hicks lake when we lived in Cloverdale. Hot seafood dip is great at the Old Settler Pub in Harrison. [emoji6]

Cheers

Just think, you can take the unit to the factory to have any upgrades installed, nice option.

Great shot Len! Caught Dian warming in the sun with an admiring gaze at the 19. Nice spot among the trees.

Welcome to the forum and I know you'll enjoy having a 19.

We haven't been into Deer and Hicks lakes for about 4 years. How's the road in these days?
