Going to factory to order 19

Jim and I have been so helped by our being enabled to attend the rally at Osoyoos this weekend. We feel we are way ahead on our build sheet after touring and talking to some great 19 owners. Some of them only picked up in the last few days. They even let us show up in our Casita! Thanks guys!

Well of course! Casita owners are some of Escape's best customers.

Welcome to the forum. You are doing it right by going to the factory like we did. You might even decide to jump up by 2 feet. I keep wondering when Casita is going to build a bigger trailer if ever. At 6' the head room is a little lacking in their 17 footers. Loren

6 ft in a Casita 17 footer - under the A/C is about 5-10. Which is part of why I now own an Escape! Got truly tired of bashing my head....................

Alf, I have to admit that you have some serious headroom. We really didn't look at the 5.0TA while at the factory because we have a fiberglass tonneau cover on the truck and want the room to haul a whole other bunch of junk for some boondocking. Generator, air compressor, water tank, tools, bottled water, extra LP tank, gas can, floor jack, and etc. Gearing up for that Alcan highway run and back on the Casiar. Loren

The headroom in this Escape 5.0TA is awesome, but I am a little worried about how are we going to be able to reach high enough to swat that bug on the ceiling?

Yippee! Glad to meet you and Jim, think you'll be happy with your decision. (Suggest you two take a good look at the 21, lots of 19'ers upgrade after a few years, and the ones we saw at the rally sure got us thinking!).
