"Great Extrications"

Unique, I say.
Perhaps over most people's heads, but with a shovel and some rope, they'll eventually dig it.

"Great Extrications"

Well, well, well, after months of lurking on this forum (thanks to everyone for all the valuable information by the way), untold hours of Build Sheet head-scratching, and undoubtedly testing Crystal's seemingly endless patience, we're now finally just 3-1/2 weeks from our Nov. 3rd delivery date on our new 19 foot Escape. The final piece of the puzzle was coming up with a suitable name for said trailer, something that seems to be a favorite activity around here. So today - and somewhat surprisingly unaided by alcohol intake - the decision was made: It will be called "Great Extrications", thanks in part to Charles Dickens, in part to "The Great Escape" movie, in part to our eagerly anticipated extricatorial (sorry) camping and hiking adventures, and in part to the upcoming retirement of the lone remaining working stiff in the household. We're just hoping that no one else has come up with this name already. In any case, our thanks to everyone at Escape, and Crystal in particular, for their help and patience.

(Some posts disappeared off of this thread somehow. Glenn, yours also disappeared so I guess it wasn't you!)

Nope. We just ended up with two threads the same. Can't deal with it now, but they have to be merged.

Merge didn't work. Had to move, but posts are out of order. I give up.

Sorry 'bout that. I went in to edit the original post, and when I did a "Save", it told me I was trying to post to a non-existant thread. I got out and it apparently deleted the original post and retained the first 2 replies, so I re-posted, and now the original post ended up 3rd - go figger.

No problem. I have been told that some posts failed when they went through. So you never know.

Someone put back the missing ones but had to put them first apparently.

I moved the two response posts from the first duplicate thread to the second thread and then deleted the first duplicate thread.
The problem is that the responses ended up at the start of the thread and I don't know how to move them within the thread.

I'm not sure how or why we ended up with two threads.

Have no way to extricate myself, which is fitting.
