Hello from a newbie

Hello, my husband and I live full time in an older TT. We looked at the Casitas in Rice, Tx and I fell in love. Then I began searching and found the Escape. Our funds are limited and I am not sure about financing but I will not give up on having a fiberglass RV. We have a Ford F-250.

Welcome Judith. I would recommend you contact Escape. They will refer you to Escape owners in your area who will be happy to show you their trailer.

Watch out though - if you love a Casita you might just flip over an Escape. In my humble opinion, they are better in almost every respect.

We came within a hairs breadth of getting a Casita when we were first looking, but as luck would have it, we had a very hard time getting a response from the Casita factory. We're now very glad of that.

Welcome to the Escape Forum! I think you would be very happy with an Escape and the Escape quality. (Plus, with that F-250, you can pull anything Escape has to offer.) If you're interested in viewing a 19' in person, we're in Felton and there are a couple of members in Santa Cruz proper.

One point to consider is the exchange rate. While the Canadian pricing may seem higher, a favorable exchange rate can bring it down significantly. We ordered and paid ours up front in November, 2016, when the rate was 74 cents to a Canadian dollar.
I compared pricing of Escape to a Lil Snoozy and Escape won. I asked Casita for pricing and never got a response.
