Different trailers for different camping styles ... and that's something only you can determine. We're not the 'sit outside our trailer' all day type, therefore, when we looked at a 17' we felt it was just a bit cramped so we ordered a 19'. While we loved the 19', I felt we had sacrificed interior space for a queen bed (especially evident on very windy/rainy days when you're inside with two dogs). Our only hesitation on moving up was, for us, the awning and screen room which we used to 'extend' our living area; however, we felt the layout of the 21' would suit us better. Like the others, I would urge you to take the time to visit with other owners and spend some time in their trailers. That, alone, may make your decision easier.

Thanks! I feel certain we will be planning on a 19 or 21 5.0 OTA. We want to buy once and buy quality. Escape trailers are impressive.

Hopefully you will get a chance to see them all in person! The 21 layout is totally different from the 19. It all depends which one is to your liking.
Fibreglass trailers, when well taken care off, can last a long time. Imaging you two yourselves ten years from now, and think about how you see yourself camping down the road. This might help you to chose the right trailer!
We went with the 19 for its layout. We are more the outdoor people, and prefer to do most cooking outside. Like the queen bed in the back, instead of the double in the front. Like to have windows all around. Didn't care for a bigger counter. Bathroom might be a little smaller, but has all we need.
With all the options ETI offers, you can "design" a trailer to YOUR liking and needs.
Thanks for the reply. We are planning to visit Vancouver in early Jun 2018, with a side trip to ETI. Nothing like seeing all the options in the same showroom!

This is our first toe-in-the-water with RVs, so we don't have a tow vehicle. Another subject to research on this forum!

Thanks for offering to show your Escape! We live in Muncie, so Richmond's not far from us. There you are in Don Raper RV's backyard, and you have an Escape from BC -- kinda funny!
