NOGs are fun. Hope it works out.

The maxfan runs quite on low for the first 2 or 3 years but as time and hours used get higher they get some what noisier with time . I think the bearings or bushings get drier . with age . Maybe they can be lubricated ...don't know .

If you'd like to tour our 17B we'd be happy to arrange a time. Although we live across town from you a visit might get you even more excited! Email is elmihata@comcast.net.

Thanks Eric! We are really not that far from you as we are just north of Beaverton and highway 26. We toured a 17B couple years ago and a 19' this year and went for the 17'. Will you be going to the April NOG? It looks like we may make it!

Our spring plans are not set yet. We did stumble on a NOG at Nehalem State Park and had a great time. Lots of good folks and different trailers to view. I would suggest you try to make it.

Akoakoa…the Hawaiian word? Sounds familiar but can' t remember the meaning!

The park for this April 2015 NOG is only 30min drive from our house, door to door. Time-wise we can totally make it. It really just depends on whether we have the right trailer at that time!

LOL you are the 2nd person who said that. But truly no it was not Hawaiian origin. It's just a moniker I made up during my early career as code-monkey. And I thought it rhymes with my name.

Another Escape in Oregon..... We're 2 miles north of the Helvetia Tavern 5 miles from Hillsboro.

Looked it up in my Hawaiian dictionary... Akoakoa means "a meeting place." A great name for your new Escape!
