Just Saying Hello

Have been in the market for over a year now and taking longer than it should, but trying to find the right one. Not even sure how I found the Escape trailers, but they certainly have my attention.
Look forward to reading more on the site.
If anyone has thoughts or ideas on what to read or review so I don't ask redundant questions? Am interested in the 19 or 21, time will tell.
Thanks.

Welcome Fred, please contact the factory and they can put you in touch with an owner near you for viewing. I'm in Pennsylvania but I'm sure there are ones closer. Welcome....

Welcome. Have you had a trailer? Do you expect to be at campgrounds? Any special needs? Do you know which model you are interested in?

Older threads, but a ton of info to dive into, if you wish.

If you could do it again, what would be different?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I also appreciate the links to past discussions and will go through those. Great idea on a topic...ie If you could do it all over again... I suspect individual tastes vary, but clearly a good path to take as a general direction.
This will be a first one for us. We have rented Class C's before, but I also enjoy getting to a destination and parking the trailer and having my vehicle for driving around. I also envision a good amount of boondocking as fishing and bird hunting are something I plan to do in spring and fall. So I expect it will be a 3 season arrangement.
The Escapes appear to be well built and better than most. Have heard some stories about leaky RV trailers and thinking Escapes molded shell will limit leaks. The insulation also may be a big factor to me.
Eventually that word "retirement" becomes a reality in several years, and at that point we will know if the Escape works for extended periods, or if we need to go with a larger one.

Thanks. Good idea. I saw the York location and was honestly a big reason I stayed on with considering the Escapes, as it looked like the market was only west coast (US/Canada).
Also looked at the Bigfoot's and saw they joined on in a dealership in New England, which would be more convenient, but not completely sold on their value.

Click on the OWNERS MAP (above) to see how widespread ETI's market is. It's not just a West Coast thing.

And welcome to the forum!

There is a rally in September at Niagara Falls, On, where you can see just about every Escape model made-at one time I was one of only a handful on this side of the Mississippi but as Escape has grown, so has their customer base. Now I'm on my third Escape and there are close to 3 dozen or more on the eastern side, from Maine down to Florida and in between. See here for info Niagara Wine Escape 2017

Fred: Welcome. My father was just trout fishing up near you on the Musconetcong and South Branch. The trailer is used similar to how you suggest using yours. If you want to see the trailer (2010 19') it resides about an hour south of you down rt.31 in Hamilton. It is obviously not the newer version trailer, but will give you a very good flavor of an Escape build. From the owner's map there is a 2015 21' in Ocean City. Not on the map but I also know of another 19' (2015?) in Allendale and a 2014 19' in Highland Park. Never actually seen another one in person, so they are certainly elusive on the East Coast.
