Welcome, Patrick! Looks like a good list. And you have the distinction of having the last Escape of 2015. That is one big birthday present!

I see two pick-up dates for a 19 opened up in November and December of this year: Production Schedule

A good deal with 2015 pricing...

If your are a fisherman, think about 2 Additional Sewer Hose Storage Cylinders with *LOCKING CAPS*. The sewer hose storage cylinder is made of PVC pipe and will be perfect for storing fishing rods under the unit. What about a surge protector? Digital thermostat? Aluminum rims? Quick connect propane? Inverter? Opening window in bathroom? Thermal windows? surge protector? MaxxFann with Remote 7500K (Upgrade) SMOKE? These are from my build sheet due June 1. After listening to lots of Escapees and researching on this Forum, these are some additional things I got.

Thanks for the suggestions. We met a couple on a camping trip last week at Ralph River on Vancouver island who have a 17 foot Escape. Got a 2 hour tour, lots of great ideas when you actually see this trailer in use. They are very happy with the trailer.

Congratulations on your choice and welcome to the Escape family. If you are bike ready you may want to consider additional tail lights. I'm not sure where the taillights are on the 17 but if the bikes cover them you may want additional ones installed. I had extra taillights put on my 19 and am very glad that I did. I also really appreciate the LED light package with LED Captain's lights at the bed for reading. They provide lots of light and little draw on battery. You are going to thoroughly enjoy your new trailer, we are excited for you.

Here's Barb, woollymammoth who is married to the dragoon and is looking forward to her birthday, even if it is months away, because that's the day we pick up our 17b. It's cool to see the two colour choices side by side like that. I also factored in the lovely light goldenly oak colour of the cabinets. We met a delightful couple camping a few weeks back. Ya..only 4-5 sites taken in the entire 100 plus campground and then this 17b drove in! Marg,a fibre artist, one of the owners, was thrilled with our colour samples, which we had brought camping ( ya), she says the lighter colours are best in a small space...it fools our eyes somehow that spaces are bigger.

You might want to reconsider the 4.3 refer. It does not cool below 42 degrees F. when the ambient air temps are above 84 degrees F.

Congratulations! It's so exciting to be planning your trailer. Your fabric and formica choices are great! I was excited to see you are getting the dotscreen formica. We are also getting the dotscreen formica, but in the Aqua color. Have you decided on the trim color for your forimica? We found the more we read on the forum the more we added to our build sheet. Happy planning!

Good point. On Vancouver Island it will probably work OK, but if you plan to camp in the Summer in hotter climates, the 4.3 Fridge performance could be a problem.

Hey there fellow west coasters. ( ya ya, not the kind of coaster which you put your coffee on, but the sort who lives near the big wet salty ocean!) ( and will soon be camping near that lovely ocean in an Escape trailer). I'd love to see a photo of your aqua dotscreen. I am also curious about the fabric you have chosen. Can you post perhaps? And elsewhere in the trailer, what are your favourite adaptations or options so far?
