I don't know what people do...
Slapped a three day trip permit from Washington state on the back window, $30 and about one town over from Sumas to DMV to get it. I'm carrying all my paper work with me that proves that this is my personal property. Also, I printed out my home states registration requirements showing it's a headache. It's also helpful to have separate insurance for the trailer. I don't expect any problems.

Wow, I didn't expect this much info this fast. It looks like a passport card would be the way to go for us. We wouldn't have to worry about the air travel part cause there's no way you can get my wife on a plane. We appreciate the support and input from everyone.

Grump, the orientation is definitely worth the trip. Some great stores and interesting places to eat around Chilliwack. If you have an equalizer hitch or brake controller on your vehicle you can make sure it is all properly adjusted before you begin towing. The biggest benefit is meeting and getting to know the leaders of our Escape family. You will never regret making the trip. Welcome to the family, we will all look forward to meeting you at the next rally. Take care and Safe Travels.

I am a long-time RVer who downsized to a Casita about 5 years ago. I found that I wanted something a little bigger, so I have a 21 ft Escape on order with delivery in May 2016. I have been reading the Escape forum for a while and think it is great and look forward to meeting some of you in the future.

Welcome

Hello Cfoster,
Good to see another Southerner on the forum!! I live about 25 miles NW of Nashville. I have a 21' on order for completion 6/16. I also had a Casita 17'; then went to a Scamp 5th wheel. Loved both of them, but just too small for my comfort level. I think the 21' will be just the ticket for my retirement years. Maybe we can meet up for a egg rally.

From the doorway to the rear a 21 is pretty much the same as a 5TA. We went 21 for our retirement after a Casita 17 and are still delighted.
