Trailer: 2014 Escape 19'

New Escape family member

After trolling the forum for 6 months as a wannabee, I have finally joined the Escape family. Yesterday, we put down the deposit for a 2013 19' for December completion.

Thanks to all the forum members who have started discussion threads, and shared their ideas, opinions, technical information, experiences, and pictures (Yes, we do love those pictures), and even most of the humour - good or bad!
It has helped in getting me this far - and still feeling like I have made the right decision, but now the real fun begins, finalizing all the build sheet decisions.

My wife and I have been tent campers, this will be our first trailer. I am getting close to retirement, so expect to be doing much more travelling than our usual summertime camping trips. Our new Escape should provide us with a comfortable home on the road for all of our future travels.

You won't be able to contain yourselves, moving from a tent to an Escape 19.
We've had our 17 for five years ( tent trailer prior to that ) and we are still thrilled.

I can share your excitement. I have also always (and still am) a tent camper. It's gotten lonely as my wife has finally given up on the tent. Our 19' will be completed on January 2, 2014. We have everything spec'd out and can't wait. Congratulations!

Fun times ahead! Our 19 is in its third week of construction. The whole process has been fun and like you said, this forum is great!

It's ironic when you look at production schedules. Although my completion date is Jan. 2, I probably won't see my trailer 'til March or April. But, you let one date slip, you let them all slip. Just like life, looking forwards always seems to take a long time, but when you look back you just wonder where the time went.
