Wanted to get out here and make a quick intro so that you all know who the lurker is out here! LOL

I'm Sherry and live in Helena, MT. Am a "long time" RVer and will in the next couple years be looking to get what will likely be my last RV and it will likely be an Escape. I just love all that I'm reading about the trailers and the builds and boy you all are just a wealth of information.

My very first trailer was a 16' Scamp and I adored that thing, alas it was too small for my needs at the time. For multiple reasons after the first long rainy weekend with it, it went to a very lucky local couple for a good price. After that had a 19' stick built trailer that I towed with a 3/4 ton suburban (hey I have major mountains to crawl over any direction I go from home). Traded both the trailer and tug in for what I have now - a 34' class A that is, at 20 years old now retired and I am hoping to sell next spring. It has been a maintenance nightmare but I've learned a LOT and really have loved using it.

So will continue to lurk. I may even have to crash the next rally in Oregon so I can see all the trailers and options. Right now leaning towards the new 5th wheel (hey I like the double axle option) but flip back and forth between that and a bumper pull. Not like I don't have time to figure it out.

Thanks to you all for filling my head with lots of ideas (yup I'm tracking them in a list) for my new trailer when it happens.

Hi Sherry! Yep, come to the Oregon Gathering. There's Yurts if you have a need for sleeping arrangements. There's going to be a ton of Escape's there of different sizes and I can tell you, it's a lot of fun!
