New Members from Illinois

Greetings from west-central Illinois. My wife and I ordered a 5.0 TA which is due next May. We decided quickly on model preferred but needed to sit in the dinette/lounge before pulling the trigger. We visited "Tash's" 21 on Sunday and ordered on Monday. Bill and Mary from Iowa were traveling through on I-80 a few weeks later and we were able to visit their 5.0 TA at a campground and reinforce our decision. I've been reading a lot in the forum (according to my wife) and am impressed with all the friendliness and helpfulness. We are looking forward to meeting a some of you next week at the Mississippi River Rendezvous, We currently have no RV but are preparing for less work and more travel next year!

Thanks for the welcome Fred. We will try to find you Saturday in the new campground - now only 30 miles from our home! I remember a night in a tent at Scott County Park when our boys were small...but I think I blocked much of that memory. Looking forward to more comfortable accommodations when we get our Escape. Have a great weekend!
