Talking New members here, from central TN

WE are new to the E forum, tho aparently we had an old unused membership some time ago..
WE are a retired couple, Holly and Fred from central TN, currently actively camping in a 17' Casita, but with several grandkids coming now we needed to seriously look to 'upsizing'..so here we are..looking at a 21' Escape

Welcome Holly and Fred! I'm in Northern Kentucky with a new 2019 E21 that we picked up in May. We also had a Casita SD17 which we loved, the 21 is even better.

Welcome, Holly and Fred. We sold our 17' SD in March and picked up a 2014 21' on June 3. It had been kept in a barn since new and was in superb condition, except what appears/appeared to be a minor propane leak and the problems with the RML8555 refrigerator.

We are delighted and still amazed at the space. As others have said, we think it tows better.

Good luck in finding an E21 - we were just very lucky with ours.

Tennessee 21's

Hollybee,

There are two couples here in the Chattanooga area, both with 2014 body style 21s.

You are welcome to get in touch with either or both of us to come look.

Ours is stored at home in our garage and our friends' is nearby in covered storage.

Plenty of similarities to the new model, each with slightly different build sheet selections. We could arrange for you to see them both on the same trip.

Bill

You may still be eligible for a replacement to RMD8555- a deal ETI made with Dometic. I remember that the change could be made at anytime.

Thank you. I've read all I could on the RMD and RML, and took extensive notes.

I remember that Reace was able to get a replacement RMD for a second owner in 2017 but it seems that all other replacements were original owners, and prior to 2017.

Guess it wouldn't hurt to send an email to Reace but for now I'm focusing on what others have done to improve cooling.
