Not new to Forum but now we own a 21' Esacpe

Hello All,

Excited to say we are the proud new owners of a 2014 21' Escape, like many of you moving up from a 17' Casita. I will say one reason I felt comfortable buying a Casita was the great Casita Club website. I wish I was more handy so jealous about some things people do, sounds and looks like the Escape site is just the same just less of us. We live in GA, when I called the factory about their referral program I was told the closest was in Chattanooga TN so we could be the only people in GA that own one? If so I think that's pretty cool.
Since I did buy ours used but it looks brand new should I contact the factory and offer to be part of this referral program? Don't mind having a few more like mine. LOL

Patty and I are excited about our new home on wheels. I have named every boat and travel trailer I've ever owned, we called our Casita Matilda but when I saw how much bigger the Escape is for only 4' more (only seen one in our life's and that was only the outside from about 50 feet away) I said this has to be a male name so I picked Grover. I know our grand kids will like it and since their part of the reason we wanted bigger it only makes sense.

We are looking forward to our maiden voyage and also the many adventures we know are to come.

Safe travels to all,

Steve and Patty

What’s in a name

I just knew as I read your post and you said your Casita was named Matilda and you were impressed by the interior roominess of the 21, you were going to name your new Escape “Waltzing Matilda” cause she’s big enough to hold a dance in there. But alas, I was wrong again. Glad you’re happy to get an Escape. It’s my opinion that you should Definitely let Escape know you’re an owner if not only for the referral opportunity but also in case some sort of recall comes up so they can contact you. Hope to meet you at a Rally in the future.

Steve and Patty,

Congratulations on your purchase of an Escape 21. Yours is the same vintage as mine. I have thorougly enjoyed my trailer, and I believe you will as well.

And Grover is a good name.
