Not so new introduction

We are Bill and Earline from East Tennessee. I retired in January and we began our search for some type of RV. We soon found out how poorly most travel trailers are made. Not long after that we found Escape on the internet. We liked what we saw and put a deposit on a 19'.

We then decided to attend the rally in Osoyoos to firm up our build sheet for the 19'. Upon arrival we visited several of the new 21s and decided the 21 was a better match for us. We were the ones camping in our Honda minivan, drooling over all the Escapes from the smallest to the largest. We had the greatest time there meeting so many wonderful people and can't wait to be part of the Escape family.

After the rally we drove to Chilliwack and Tammy and Reace were gracious enough to exchange our 19's October build date for a 21.

We have been reading the forum regularly getting ideas for our build sheet, and after seeing many of the options at the rally we have it about finalized. We are so excited and look forward to driving to BC again, to pick up our new trailer.

Hmmm....been at least 15 minutes and none of the alumni has responded so Welcome from someone who neglected to formally introduce! We're getting one as well, and have been to Chatanooga; sorry I missed you at the Rally- was too busy checking out every 21 there. Our date is 10/3; perhaps we'll see you in Chilliwack? Ross & Susan

Hi: Bill and Earline... Sorry I was busy adding a shelf to the cupboard in "Escape Hatch II". Finished it by flashlight. I'm sure ETI would have put it in if I had asked... but it's done now. Started to figure out putting in an Alf Shelf over the door. Next project!!! WELCOME!!! Alf

Welcome Bill and Earline.

I picked up my 19 on 06/24 and am still making my way back to central California. Havin a ball with my new toy and I'm sure you'll love your new Escape when you get it. I hope to make it up to Tennessee someday.

Welcome Bill and Earline,
I do not recall if we saw one another in Osoyoos or perhaps Townsend,Tn rally? If not, Welcome again. Ask away on the build sheet, we all have opinions on how to spend your money….

Jim,
You gave us a great tour of Blackjack and we compared prior federal service history, yours with Treasury and mine with DOJ. We'll try to add a picture or avatar soon.

Welcome! We also had a deposit on a 19 and chaged to a 21 after seeing Jim's 21. Pick up the end of the month.

Hi Bill and Earline,

It was great talking to you in Osoyoos. It really helps to be able to look at the trailers, they all do look different. Glad the dates are working out for you. Earline, I remember I really liked your decorating ideas.

Happy Trails,
Kathie (& Dave)

Hi Kathie!

It was great meeting you and Dave. Thank you to you both and everyone else who graciously showed us their beautiful Escapes at the rally.

The decorating has been fun! I have improved on some of my ideas since we talked. While Bill is finalizing the build sheet, I am shopping for our new travel home! We both have our priorities!!

Earline

Hi: cpaharley2008... I'd rather forget Toronto. Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to stay there!!! 18 lanes of "No go". Alf

But it's not always like that on the 18 lane 401 across Toronto just most of the time. We came into the very east end of the city late last Thursday morning and scooted right across to the airport in the west end averaging 100 kph!
